Aeromesh MWS solutions are capable of supporting high speed vehicular and railway mobile roaming up to 160+ mph. Highly tunable mobile roaming configuration parameters enable blistering fast mobile roaming and session persistence when used with the Aeromesh ConnectSphere PTMP units.
Besides connecting quickly to the PTMP base stations, the Aeromesh Mobile Wireless Solutions (MWS) also enable extending of the fixed Wi-Fi mesh to neighbouring MWS units. This feature is vital in ensuring reliable connectivity to all fleets in mining environments when not all vehicles are able to connect to the fixed wireless mesh.
The MWS-2400 is available in indoor (mount inside vehicle) as well as rugged outdoor (mount outside the vehicle) form factors.
MWS2400 mobile wireless solution with 2×2 MIMO provides blistering fast throughput at up to 300 Mbps and built for extreme capacity. It is uniquely designed for simultaneous support of multiple applications, VLAN segmented networks, real-time and low latency voice, and high resolution video applications and services.
Aeromesh’s foundational architecture from its inception has clearly distinct advantages over other wireless solutions. It is a true dedicated Layer 2 switching wireless unit providing near full duplex RX and TX and it also combines dedicated client access – all simultaneously from each unit.
The MWS-2400 can also be wired directly to the network for creating hotspot.
